Buleleng Regency is located at north of Bali Island, Lovina is part of Buleleng Regency. Regency of Buleleng consists of 9 Subdistrict covering 146 village/administrative village and 163 traditional village with width about 1,365.88 km² ( 24.25% from wide of Bali Island). Under Dutch colonial rule, Singaraja/Buleleng was the capital of Nusa Tenggara (Lesser Sunda Islands). Buleleng Regency mostly agricultural harvests are grape, orange, coffee, vanilla & clove. The coastline rice plantations reach almost to the sea and there are lovely peaceful beaches alongside, perfect for all kinds of water sports and scenic enough to just chill and do nothing Lovina also has nice beaches, in lovina beach you can also see dolphins at certain time. Dolphin tour can be arranged at this area and this tour is one of the tourist favorite activities. Water fall of git git is one of place you must visit, this water fall is located at south of Lovina. Other places of interest in this area are Bayuwedang natural hot spring (60 km west of Singaraja), Pulaki Temple, Buleleng Harbor, Deer Island, Gondol is located 50 kilometers to the west of Singaraja a government run fish breeding project and turtles, shrimp and prawns are included. For diver a diving spot is available at Pemuteran area at the west of Lovina. Choices of hotel are plenty in Lovina from five star hotel such as Matahari Beach Resort, villa and budget hotels.
